The Man from Snowy River Festival Trek is our premier ride of the season. Travelling from East to South West over 150 km between Yaouk and Khancoban through Montane and Alpine country of the Great Dividing Range. Riders experience the top of Australia on horseback in the Kosciusko National Park. Susan who is a veterinarian from Queensland describes the big day and her respect for our horses.

Siblings share our Man from Snowy River Festival ride. After riding 150 Km from Yaouk to Khancoban for the Festival they describe the delight of riding in snow! (We don’t set out to ride in snow but sometimes mother nature gives us a cold bonus).

Thanks so much Peter, Michelle, Marcus and Ibby for a really wonderful trekking experience in the Snowy Mountains. We were part of the first trekking group of the new season, mountains still capped with snow and many herds of brumbies out grazing on the plains. Peter and the team were excellent hosts and despite some pretty chilly conditions at times, -2 degrees one night, we had a fabulous time, great food and great company! Best wishes for the rest of the seasons.”
