Season Commencement

Only a short time now till we're back in the saddle again for the new season! Just wanted to advise Peter has sold the lease of Brumby Haven Motel in Adaminaby to a local businessman Justin Hassall who has renamed The Mt Selwyn & Lake Eucumbene Lodge. We'll still accommodate guests first night prior to trek commencement at the Lodge as usual. The Snowy Region experienced moderate temps/rain/snowfalls over winter. Early spring showers have good some good green growth started & Spring has sprung. Most of the horses are looking in very good order albeit with some winter hair still to shed! We're looking forward to a good wildflower season in the National Park, with November thru till January generally the best time for flower lovers! Look forward to seeing you all soon!!! Peter & the staff!

Winter Update 2013

After a very snowy cold start to the winter, the weather has settled somewhat and we're now experiencing some lovely warm sunny days with crisp nights and light early frosts. Our wonderful horses have been enjoying their off-season break and the rugging program has continued this winter with many of them wearing brand new or repaired rugs. All the horses were brought in again this week for some maintenance (hooftrims, grooming & drenching) and the majority of them are in superb condition. We're again looking forward to a fantastic spring season (only a few weeks away now) with an excellent volume of advance bookings already received. We advise the following treks are already booked out and now closed for further bookings (5th October Season commencement ride; 25th November - 5 day trek; 12th December - 4 day trek) As we're taking limited bookings early this season, several other scheduled treks are coming close to closing, so if you're thinking of joining us for a fantastic Snowy Mountains horseback experience, please book early to avoid disappointment! Can't wait to see you in the Spring!!!
