"The Man from Snowy River may well be a myth, but the spirit of Banjo Patterson's legend lives on in the Cochran family."

Cochran Horse Treks operate horse treks across the beautiful Snowy Mountains of Australia from homesteads at Yaouk on the east and Khancoban on the west. We offer the greatest variety of horseback adventures in Australia.

Over 160 years the Cochran family have gathered the necessary breeding in horses to offer an outstanding quality of trekking horse.

Our staff are our family and make our riders feel warm and welcome without the sense of pretense or commercialism, offering a genuine Australian outback experience.

Our priorities at all times are safety, comfort, and good humour so come along for a memorable experience and enjoy the ride of your life!
